Description: Form-fitting black velvet gown with bead embroidery. Recreation of a gown designed by Travis Banton for Mae West to wear in the l934 movie "Belle of the Nineties". 24 inches tall, painted eyes, mohair wig.
Doll Name: Lady of Vietnam I
Description: This doll is the first in a series depicting beautiful women of the east. She is 18 inches tall. She wears a silk ao dai, the long tight dress with high slits up each side worn over silk pants. She holds a bird in a cage. Painted eyes.
Doll Name: Lady of Vietnam II
Description: This is the second doll in a series depicting beautiful women of the east. She wears a purple silk ao dai over silk pants. Her hat is a non la - the traditional woven grass conical hat. 18 inches tall. Painted eyes.

Doll Name: Garden Party, 1865
Description: 26 inch one of a kind lady dressed in a gown of old and new lace over a silk organza underskirt. A boned crinoline and flounced petticoats support the full skirt. Natural straw picture hat, painted eyes.

Description: Silk evening gown circa l896. Gown features three types of lace and bead embroidery. She holds a feather fan and wears an aigrette in her hair. She is 24 inches tall. Painted eyes.
Doll Name: Angelique 2/7
Description: Silk panne velvet gown trimmed with bead embroidery and metallic lace in the style of the late l820’s. She has a laced corset and complete underclothes with stockings and leather court slippers. She is 26 inches tall. Painted eyes.

Description: Belle is 24 inches tall and wears an evening ensemble of silk tulle and silk Chantilly lace designed by Coco Chanel in l936. The original is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Painted eyes.

Description: Circa l878 visiting toilette of silk taffeta, velvet and lace. The velvet and lace are old. She has white suede boots and a picture hat and parasol complete her outfit. She is 24 inches tall. Painted eyes.

Description: Evening gown of embroidered georgette over pink silk with matching reticule circa l896. Feather aigrette adorns her hair. She is 24 inches tall. Painted eyes.

Doll Name: Hula Holoku 3/3
Description: This doll wears a holoku, a formal 19th century gown from Hawaii with a long train. The gown is worn for an elegant hula dance which is performed barefoot. Holoku balls are still held in Hawaii and prizes are awarded for the most beautiful gown. This gown was inspired by an original oil painting by Herb Kawainui Kane. 18 inches, painted eyes.

Description: Silk gown with bead embellishment. Overskirt is vintage fabric. Silver and rhinestone tiara. She carries a basket fashioned of seashells filled with blue and clear crystals. 24 inches, painted eyes.
