Commission Work
Each of my dolls is completely handcrafted by me in my studio. I do the modeling of the body parts, make the molds, clean the greenware and fire the kiln. I paint the faces and body parts, construct the bodies and sew the costumes, construct the wigs and make the shoes and accessories. This is a time consuming process and means that I do not make a large number of dolls each year. To some that may seem a disadvantage. However, because I do every aspect of the doll I can create a doll to match the desires of the collector. I am happy to accept special orders. The color, style and era of the clothing as well as complexion, hair, and eye color may be selected.
